Saved favorites

When you save a toy, its identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage. Favorites stay on that device and are not sent to us. Remove them using the hearts or your browser’s site-data controls. Search and filters run in your browser.

Visiting the website

The site uses locally hosted fonts and product photos. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or shopper tracking cookies. We record first-party product interactions as described below. Our hosting provider, Inleed, may process ordinary server access and security logs, including IP addresses, request times, requested pages, and browser information, to operate the website.

Product interaction counts

We record which product details are opened and which Amazon buttons are clicked, with the product identifier, action, location on our page, a random identifier for that event, and the server time. Event records do not contain shopper identifiers, cookies, raw IP addresses, or browser user-agent strings. They are kept for up to 180 days. We do not sell or share these interaction records or use them for cross-site advertising. Global Privacy Control (GPC) requests concern the sale or sharing of personal information, so these first-party counts continue with GPC enabled. Browsers that signal Do Not Track are excluded. These counts help us understand product interest; they do not tell us who bought a product. Our server uses short-lived keyed hashes of IP addresses to limit abusive requests, separate from the interaction records. Ordinary hosting access logs may still contain IP addresses.

Admin account

The private admin area uses a necessary secure session cookie for login. Admin email addresses, hashed passwords, and security activity are stored in the database. Password-reset emails contain single-use links that expire after 30 minutes. Changing a password invalidates other sessions.

Links to other websites

Amazon and source links open other websites. Those sites apply their own privacy and cookie policies. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Our Amazon links include our public tracking identifier so Amazon can attribute qualifying purchases to us.

Email and payments

The site has no newsletter signup, bidder accounts, or payment collection. Admin password-reset messages are transactional emails sent through our hosting mailbox. If you contact us by email, your message and address are used to respond to your enquiry. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing. Auctions, Stripe payments, and optional marketing signups will have updated privacy information when introduced.

Children

This buying guide is intended for adults and parents making purchasing decisions. We do not ask children to submit personal information.

Your choices

You can clear saved favorites in your browser and choose whether to follow an external link. Contact us about personal information you have sent by email or a privacy request. We will update this policy when the website’s services change.
